Processing of special categories of personal data within messaging

I have read and understood the Messaging Privacy Notice prepared by Devolay Yazılım Mühendislik Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Devolay”).

I give my explicit consent to the processing by Devolay of special categories of my personal data, in particular health data, that may appear in messages and attachments written by me or by the expert I am writing to in the messaging area of the Platform, limited to the purposes of:

  • providing the messaging service, that is, delivering messages and attachments to the other party and storing them as conversation history;
  • reviewing complaints and protecting rights in possible disputes;

and to their transfer, for these purposes, to the cloud infrastructure and storage providers we use, whose servers may be located abroad.

I have been informed that, in the case of a transfer abroad, my data may be stored on servers in countries that may not provide a level of protection equivalent to that in Türkiye, and that this may create risks regarding access to and protection of my data.

I have also been informed that:

  • I am not obliged to give consent; not consenting does not prevent me from using the messaging service. In that case I should not include special categories of personal data in my messages.
  • I can withdraw my consent at any time from the options menu of the messaging screen; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
  • My other personal data processed within messaging is processed not on the basis of my consent but on the other legal grounds described in the Messaging Privacy Notice.
